Analia Selis was born in Tucumán, Argentina, in 1977. In 1998, she graduated in music pedagogy at the Music University of San Miguel de Tucumán (Argentina), and in 2002 in vocal performance at the Longy School of Music in Boston (USA). In 2003 she moved to Bucharest (Romania), where she currently lives.

In 2004, she won the third place at the Golden Stag International Festival (Brașov, Romania), where she represented Argentina. Between 2005 and 2014 she developed a very successful carrier as a Latin American pop singer, becoming very well known in Romania.

It was in 2014 when she debuted as a tango singer in the national tour Vă place Tango? [Do You Like Tango?] (revived in 2015 in a second edition).

 Between 2015 and 2019 she launched three successful music projects: Symphonic Tango, Symphonic Tango “Milonga de mis amores”, and ArgEnTango.

In 2021 she launched the project entitled Symphonic Piazzolla, to celebrate the centenary Astor Piazzolla’s birth and thus reveal to the public an unknown side of the tango master, performing his music in the most authentic way possible.

In 2022 she launched the Romanian tango project called Interbelic Simfonic, dedicated to her Romanian audience, as a result of many years of love and respect for them.

 Also in 2022 the Argentine Interministerial Committee awarded her the “Country Brand Ambassador” distinction, as a result of her contribution to building the Argentinian national identity abroad through her impressive talent.

In 2024, she celebrated 20 years of career in Romania and 10 years since she started singing tango. The national anniversary tour Tango Auténtico, which took place in May, marked a very successful year in the artist's career, a year in which, celebrating her artistic life in Romania, she promoted both Argentinian and Romanian tango.

 Also in 2024 she was invited by the Embassy of Argentina in Ukraine to sing with the Kiev Operetta Orchestra as a sign of bilateral friendship between Argentina and Ukraine. Kiev audiences enjoyed two (sold out) tango mega-shows with Analia Selis, the Kiev Operetta Orchestra and Ballet.

 The year 2025 brings a new highly successful challenge: the national tour Argentinissimo, roots, which took place in 20 cities in Romania in February, included 22 sold-out concerts. The artist surprised the audience with a full repertoire of Argentinian music: tango, waltz, milonga, folklore. A return to her roots.

Throughout her career, Analia Selis has been invited to the most important Romanian television and radio stations, has performed on the most prestigious stages in Romania, has collaborated with all the major orchestras in Romania and with major orchestras of Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Argentina, under the baton of great conductors, has been invited to perform with various ensembles and has performed at important music festivals: “George Enescu” International Festival (Romania), Radio Song Festival (Beijing, China), Kammermusiktage Barth Festival (Germany), Das Einzigartige Crossover Festival (Switzerland), Klaipėda International Cello Festival and Competition (Lithuania), Concentus Moraviae Festival (Czech Republic), etc.

Currently, she continues to promote tango and traditional Argentinian folklore, the music of Astor Piazzolla, as well as Romanian tango, both in Romania and in Europe.
